Dr. Parker is a board-certified, practicing physician in the field of obstetrics and gynecology who has devoted much of his time to serving the Columbus community. He is a native of Columbus who has practiced here since 1985. Some of Dr. Parker's past honors and accomplishments include serving as former Chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Grant Medical Center, former president of the local chapter of the National Medical Association, the Teacher of the Year Award from Grant Medical Center, and receiving the Special Ties Award, for work with disadvantaged children.

Dr. Parker is also an inventor, holding patents on medical devices and tools used in practice today. He is a pioneer in innovative obstetrical is surgical techniques such as Endometrial Ablation and Laparoscopic hysterectomy. Dr. Parker pioneered the mobile health units that are currently serving the Columbus public school system.

Dr. Parker has served on numerous boards such as the YMCA, the Medical Advisory Committee for the Eastside Surgical Center, the Ohio Sickle Cell board of trustees and the Blue-Chip Foundation. He lectures on numerous topics related to health care. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, tennis and photography.

Dr. Parker, earned his B.A. degree in Biology from Kent State University in 1977. He then attended the University of Cincinnati and received his medical degree in 1981. He performed his residency at Altman Hospital in Canton, Ohio, and did rotations in oncology at the Cleveland clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Currently, he is the director of Mount Carmel Obstetrical and gynecology clinical services, the House Officer Director and serves in an administrative position with Mount Carmel Health Systems, overseeing quality of care on issues related obstetrics and gynecology. He is married to Cheryl Gibbs Parker, and they have three children, Augustus IV, Jason and Krista.
 

Dr. Richey received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Biology from Bryn Mawr College, Pennsylvania. She was also a Howard Hughes Research Fellow in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Richey's medical degree was granted from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Pennsylvania and she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Dr. Richey is Board Certified OB/GYN.

Dr. Francisco Sosa comes to us from Southeast Florida where he had 15 years experience in practice.  He was the Chairman of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at his local hospital and very active in the community.  He is a Board-Certified physician with special interest in high-risk obstetrics and pelvic reconstruction surgery.  He maintains an interest in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology and likes to read and keep up with the latest advances in the field including ultrasound and newest surgical techniques.Dr. Sosa is a very dedicated and passionate professional and has relocated to the Columbus area to help the growing population of Hispanics in the area.  He is fully bilingual and willing to go the extra mile for his patients.

Dr. Sosa received his B.S. in 1986 from the University of Puerto Rico and his Medical degree in 1989 also from the University of Puerto Rico.  He went on to do his training in San Juan, Puerto Rico University Hospital from 1989 to 1993.

Dr. Sosa is married and has two beautiful daughters.  He is very involved in his family life but likes to unwind playing a little golf and outdoor recreational activities.
